For its September edition, Maison Adoré presents Shadow & Lux, an editorial celebration of beauty as fine art, where every face becomes a canvas and every image tells a cinematic story.
This issue is dedicated to the artists working behind the scenes: the makeup artists who sculpt with color and light, the hairstylists who create architectural masterpieces strand by strand, the photographers who understand the language of shadows, and the creative directors who transform concepts into unforgettable visual narratives. Together, they create images that move beyond beauty photography and enter the world of fashion editorial.
Maison Adoré is seeking bold, unpublished beauty editorials that celebrate flawless craftsmanship while preserving authenticity. We are drawn to luminous skin, dramatic close-up portraiture, expressive lighting, refined retouching, and compositions that reveal emotion through every detail. Whether your work embraces soft elegance or fearless avant-garde artistry, we want to see stories that leave a lasting impression.
Contributors are invited to submit between four and ten high-resolution images that showcase exceptional beauty, fashion, and portrait photography. Vertical compositions are encouraged for editorial spreads and cover consideration, while every submission should demonstrate technical excellence, creative direction, and cohesive storytelling from beginning to end.
The editorial welcomes submissions from photographers, makeup artists, hairstylists, fashion stylists, estheticians, creative directors, and complete production teams who believe beauty deserves to be documented with the same artistic intention as high fashion. Every accepted feature becomes part of Maison Adoré’s growing editorial archive celebrating creativity from around the world.
Selected contributors will receive a professionally designed multi-page editorial feature in the digital edition of Maison Adoré, high-resolution tear sheets suitable for portfolios and professional promotion, along with strategic exposure across the publication’s expanding creative network. Each feature is designed not only to showcase outstanding work but also to introduce exceptional talent to a global audience of fashion professionals and industry creatives.
Submissions remain open until August 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT. Contributors should submit exclusive, unpublished work in JPG or PNG format using the sRGB color profile. Images must meet the required publication dimensions and include complete team credits for every individual involved in the production, including photographer, makeup artist, hairstylist, stylist, model, agency, and creative direction where applicable.
